A Message from Idaho Leaders United Member - Brian Pike
Dear Members and Friends:
I started my career in law enforcement in 1993 with the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office as a patrol Deputy. In 1994, the City of Twin Falls hired me as a police officer. During my career, I had the privilege of working as a patrol officer, DARE/GREAT officer, SWAT team member and Bike team member. As my career progressed, I became a supervisor within the organization, finally as Chief of Police in 2011, and had the opportunity help develop the men and women who worked for the department.
Law enforcement provided an opportunity to work with and within the community to address specific issues important to them - crime, community safety, quality of life and a hundred other issues that make our communities stronger and more resilient. I learned years ago we are always stronger together than apart.
I signed on to Idaho Leaders United because I am passionate about making sure Idaho continues to be a place all Idahoans can call home - regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation. Idaho has always supported a rugged individualist attitude placing value on what really matters in making a state great - the heart of it’s people. Idaho Leaders United embraces this concept and stands against all forms of political violence, extremism and bigotry. I am honored to be part of this group.
Sincerely,
Brian Pike
Twin Falls Chief of Police, retired
